One other thing, can one gallery be made "clean" (no update date) without the whole catagory going "clean"?

Am I on the ignore list here or what? Is there a link that I just don't see? One more thing, orginizing albums, would there be a chance that albums could show in a hierarchal type view from the drop down menu's for moving photo's etc?

James.Sorry, can't answear your questions, except for that I don't see a link to the community either.
Sometimes I also feel like nobodys understanding what I am writing and therefore somehow ignored. :rolleyes

James.Unless I'm seriously mistaken, "clean" IS the property of the gallery, not the category/subcategory.
In fact, both categories and subcategories can have only two properties: name and ID (the last one is more for programmers), so they CAN NOT be marked as "clean" or what have you..

Sorry to get so late with the answer, this is not my immediate area, so I thought somebody from SM/DGrin "inner party" would answer..:-)

HTH

You need somebody from SM to answer this.:dunno

OTOH, it would probably also help if you post your different questions in a separate threads, rather than stacking them inside the same one - they can get lost easily..

Yeah, I stacked them because noone had replied yet, kinda bumping the original. As for the "Clean" deal, I noticed that if I set one gallery to "clean" the catagory/sub-catagory itself nolonger showed update info or photo count when up one level. For example, go to my page http://pics.jamesjweg.com/ see how "Other" has no info? Open it, see how "Directions" has no info? both of those went clean because *ONE* gallery in "Directions" is marked clean. This is what I am talking about. I wish the catagory and sub-catagory didn't go clean because a single gallery in them is clean.

What you can do is to separate your "clean" galleries from the "dirty" ones:-).
Otherwise I can't imagine how SM engine can dicede when to show date and when not.
It's a mixed bag, their current solutions seems logical enough for me..

Yeah, in a way, the problem I ran into was that I wanted my featured galleries to show clean in the feature area, but the catagory which they belong too I wanted to show as unclean. Not lifethreatening, I'll get over it, but it would be nice for catagories and sub-catagories to have thier own settings, or to beable to set featured gallies to clean without them being clean in thier normal location.

I have that problem too, sometimes I wonder if I am speaking "Jamesesse" instead of English.

James.Ish, I need to get around to that, huh... I'm currently immersed in a project at smugmug, but then I'll get to this.

Thanks,
Baldy
