Hey there Danny........what wonderful eyes your fly has.
I'm suppose to be getting a scorpion this weekend off a friend......we'll see if that eventuates, then I can try out my Macro Lens on a live bug after all :clap
Your are truly a King when it comes to Macro my friend, your work is simply stunning, and I have always admired your wonderful ability to shoot Macro :thumb
Thanks for sharing Danny.....take Care...... Skippy (Australia)

Wow, Awesome.
Sure glad my natural eyes don't see that much detail on a fly - if so, the fly would be about the same size as a golden retriever. I'd need a bigger flyswatter.

May we know what lens you shoot that with? I have a bellows for my OLD film rig, I miss playing with stuff like that.

Thanks folks.
James I came from Canon and Nikon 35mm with bellows and macro lenses and somehow I've ended up with Sony CD-1000 and a Panasonic FZ10. On the front of those I add the old 35mm lenses (non reversed). My favourite is the Canon 100mm which is used in this shot.
The specs for this are : FZ10 @ 1260mm, F/8, 1/60th, ISO 50, IS on, Daylight, added Canon 100mm @ F/5.6, hand held and full frame.
All the best and thanks again.
Danny.
