ok... i'm real close to having the funds to get my smugmug account. I really want the pro account as I have people that are interested in some of my prints.

here is my question.

Do I have to manually resize and crop my images so they can be printed?

Is this done automagically?

What is the best workflow for this?

I upload maximum resolution after post processing. Smugmug resizes automatically and allows the buyers to do their own cropping if desired print size doesn't exactly fit image dimensions.

So i upload the full res image and no matter what size the user wants, they can print it? I just hope they aren't forced to crop more than they have to.

I've got more questions, but let's take one at a timeUsually if they use the aspect ratio you are shooting in for prints they don't have to crop a thing.

Basicly two standard photo formats exist: the old 3:2 and the new digital 4:3. That results in more choices for the customer, but as far as I know as a pro user you can restrict what photo sizes your customers can choose.

Concerning the rest of your questions...in my oppinion just jot down everything you want to know. The more questions you ask, the bigger is the possebility that there's a fellow member who can answear it for you. :-)
