Hello i am looking to start a acct with smugmug.I do concert photos for a few bands my question is will be able to make my own link on the bands website to go directly to the smugmug pictures if so will i be able to put pasword protection the the folders that i dont want the public to view.Thanks

Yes you can create separate galleries for different bands, each with their own link, and hide them from public view or password protect them.

Can i do this without buying the proversion.Does any one have a gallery they would like to share so i can get some ideas on what diffrent things i can do?Thanks

You can also make a gallery private which means it won't appear in your main SmugMug site, the only way to see it is if you know the web address for that particular gallery - see here (http://www.smugmug.com/help/private-search-island). For example my main SmugMug site is at www.digitalnature.co.uk (http://www.digitalnature.co.uk) but I have a private gallery at www.digitalnature.co.uk/gallery/4060309 (http://www.digitalnature.co.uk/gallery/4060309) which you can't get to from the main site. You can sign-up for a free 14 day trial (no credit card required) and have a play.

Yes, custom host names is a pro feature on SmugMug.
