I want my domain name (www.bobupdegrove.com) to show up in the url with each page that people go to on my smugmug site. As it is right now it shows up on the homepage at first, but when you click on any of the tabs in the navbar, the url will show my nickname with the tab extension (http://upde.smugmug.com/THE%20FAMILY%20ALBUM); and when you go back to home it comes up as upde.smugmug.com. I want the url to always show bobupdegrove.com. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Hi, change your hardcoded navbar links to your custom domain name :)

Holler if you need help with that.

I'm hollering. I'm not sure how to structure it. Can you take a look at this and give me some guidance? Thanks Andy.

As Andy said, change your links to relative links then however your
site is enter, either with nickname or domain, that link will stick.

http://upde.smugmug.com/gallery/4171807

You can simply remove the http://upde.smugmug.com from in front of
them leaving

/gallery/4171807
/SCENIC%20LOCATIONS
for home you only need a /

Oh, and if you log in be sure to use your nickname link, so keep a separate
bookmark or favorite so you have quick access.

this may be a dumb question but if I buy a domain name and imput it in the proper place on my site. If people still have old links or old business cards with my .smugmug web address they will still be able to access my website correct?

Your nickname will always work so you don't have to worry.

I'm trying to do the same thing but it's not working for me.

For example, I want the address line to read lanceshuey.com/galleries

not http://lanceshuey.smugmug.com/galleries

and lanceshuey.com/pricing to show up not

http://lanceshuey.smugmug.com/gallery/2247597_Ef2XW

Thanks!

The links in your nav are relative so however anyone enters your site either
by domain or nickname it will stick.

Ok, it seems a bit better but I still have the crazy url

http://www.lanceshuey.com/gallery/2247597_Ef2XW

showing up instead of www.lanceshuey.com/pricing

Am I not seeing something simple here? :dunno

Clicking on the link above took me to my homepage. I don't get it.

Unless you have a vanity url setup pointing to pricing for that gallery the
www.lanceshuey.com/pricing link just takes you to your homepage.

btw, remove the red from your bio and add the bold html tag at the top.
You copied too much from the wiki page.
