Second copy of photo in a different gallery?

I'm looking to create a gallery of my best shots from the last football season. It looks like the easiest way to do this is to select a photo that I like then make a 2nd copy. Step two, move the copy to the other gallery.

Is this the easist way to do so? Is there a way of having the second copy automatically created in a different gallery?
