I absolutely love the style of the theme that Andy (www.moonriverphotography.com (http://www.moonriverphotography.com)) has for his website.
Specifically the solid color background, with the framed table inside with a different color, and then lastly the framed, beveled look around the flash slideshow.
Would someone be willing to share the code for this theme with me? I have tried the built in themes, and they don't compare.
I would be using a different color scheme obviously because I don't want to "steal" the look of Andy's site alltogether. :)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Start with the WebDev Tool and the tutorial here:
http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1354921
This will allow you to see the theme elements, colors and such, and begin exploring on how to make your own elements.
Example of the theme style is here, too:
http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/3508083#139946024
images and code.
NOTE that my smugmug style galleries use a bit of different code (for now).

I'm sorry, but I've read both these pages, and I don't get it. Sorry... but I don't.

So, to make a theme like on my site, it requires photoshop art skills. What you see are bits of art that make up the side pieces in my theme.
It'll also require some knowledge of the web dev tool, I can't imagine making a theme without being able to modify CSS.
here's an example of the art that makes up the homepage:
http://www.smugmug.com/photos/196789924-O.jpg
that piece repeats down the page.

So I figured out how to change the look using the two links you provided. I'm having two problems though. When using the Gradient Grey theme the theme does not continue down the middle of the page. It stops abruptly a short ways down. Also, the background for the navbar is not matching the grey of the theme and looks unsightly.
A) How can I clean up the gradient?
B) How can I find the exact color of grey for the background so all I see is the letters of the navbar and not the background?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I managed to figure out how to change the BG color on the nav bar to match the background, now it appears that the only issue is the partial dark gray gradient box left over on most of my pages. The gradient does not continue to go to the bottom of the box. Can someone assist me with this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much for all your assistance. I have done this in the control panel, and the gradient box still does not extend all the way to the bottom of the frame. It stops about midway down the box.

You are set now.
You had "Gradient Grey" specified as your sitewide theme.
You are using "MRP-Grey" as a theme, in your user-customizing.
I set your site wide theme to "default" and now you are all set.

Just noticed though with this theme, that any of the gallery pages only show 3 thumbs across, I would like to see 4 across. Can that be changed?

Is it possible to center the thumbs then so they don't align on the left side of the table?

As always - it *really* helps when you are very very specific. Do mean this page:
http://www.dramatapix.com/galleries
If not, what page are you referring to please? :ear

Sorry, yes

I didn't think putting 4 thumbs across was considered "stretching". I understand that I can't "stretch" pages like:
http://www.dramatapix.com/gallery/3858769#223410493
but that is not where I want the 4 thumbs across. Make sense?

Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner, but I just noticed that on the Gallery Categories page, the text identifying each category is not centered under the images. See:
http://www.dramatapix.com/galleries
Is there a way to correct this?
It does not appear to be problem when you go into the individual categories though.
Thanks

Hi Brett,
I added the following line to your CSS to correct that:
.galleries .miniBox .albumTitle {width:180px;}
Looks pretty good now :)

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
