There is a hack to do this - take a look at the thread http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=27067&highlight=journal+style+hack. Also, the last post in that thread is from Gary Glass, who posted the code in the wiki at http://wiki.smugmug.com/display/SmugMug/Journal+Resizer.

Thanks Denise - I was reading through that rather lengthy thread last night and did find the wiki too -

Will take some more time to try and understand it - not a quick fix for sure - but looks promising.

Would be soooooo nice if smugmug simply had this as an option for us pro users to more easily allow this - as the journal style is nice and allow for more space to put descriptions - thanks.
