Nice shots Brian. You still have flowers after the frost or are they plastic?

Okay, now I'm gonna ask just because I can......
Do you actually know how to take a bad shot ?? :rofl
I just love the shape of the dew in the second shot Brian
They all look beautiful, but that #2nd shot is something else :clap
Once again some amazing and beautiful work Brian :clap ... Skippy :D

Thanks for the comments everyone - worth getting cold hands for :)
GaryT - no I still have some primroses in pots near the house that have been flowering all year plus I nearly always have an orchid in bloom in the house if I get desperate. :)
Skippy - I quite frequently take bum shots but that tends to be moving bugs on moving plants :). I actually was not too happy with #2 because the composition isn't quite right but it was just about the only view I could get of that peculiar frost drop. Hardest thing about doing shots like this is actually finding a suitably nice looking blade of grass with a clear view/angle to it :).

Wonderful Brian. I love the one that looks like an antenna of a bug, but probably is not that. Your shots are so crystal clear, a sharpness to die for, and uplifting colors. Your icy drops look like gems.
I watched your little movie yesterday, and loved to see how you work and what you shot after they filmed you shooting. Very interesting!
Thanks for sharing your expertise with us.

The frozen dewdrops with the mangled flower reflections make me laugh. They remind me of tomatoes that are just on the other side of ripe, when they start to deflate slightly!
Beautiful, beautiful. I love the big fat ice drops sprouting feathery crystals on top.
So it's cold and icy but your flowers are still blooming? :huh

The TV thing was fun but almost hard work - had about 6.5 hrs on the main shoot and then they came back again to do the questions with me in the chair. Now I know what contestants on mastermind feel like :)

Thanks Schmoo - ice dewdrops certainly don't refract that well but the flower does add some colour. Yes I have some primroses in pots from last spring that have just continuously bloomed, they are in a fairly sheltered spot so have not been frosted yet.
