This is a nice, compact introduction to and motivation of channel blending. My only suggestions are to be as detailed in your explanation for the second (R channel) blend as in the first, and to post the whole thing here, rather than link to your website.

Your example is well chosen. You show how to take advantage of what's in different channels without getting into the complexity of blending one channel into another (and the color modifications that result).
