Ok, so this is my third try, thankyou for all the crutique I'm learning alot doing this challenge....Using this as my guide:

minimalism: 1: A school of abstract art that emphasises extreme simplification of form, by using basic shapes primary colours etc.
2:Use of the fewest or barest essentials.

I came up with these...Just look for opinions and critique.

thanks everyone.

Hope they worked....I'm still figuring this all out.

I edited the fronds, it now looks like this...

Which I think I like better this way, let me know what you think.

My favorite is "Gem". I like it's simplicity and color. "Fenced" I think I'd like better if the fence tie wasn't showing in the upper right.

I like the fronds shot. I'd like to see it on a clear day though - I'm just thinking that a clear blue sky would be more minimalist. :dunno

Oh, and also, just one set of fronds. The second set behind the first adds too much to me. Just the simple lines of one frond, with a clear blue sky....

I like the fronds - but I agree that it would be better without the 2nd one...
The fronds remind me of Venetian blinds. I imagined a window frame around it...

The gem picture looks too noisy and OOF to me...:dunno

I agree about the fronds, but I wont be able to reshoot for a few days as a big bank of lovely autumn weather has just blown in and its wet wet wet!

I am working on a cleaner version of the Gem.

Thanks for the comments.
