View Full Version : How to display Categories, when my default is Galleries?

My site is currently under construction at http://emilydelph.com (http://emilydelph.com/)

My Home/Galleries page is the Exhibits link on my Navbar. My galleries are currently password protected until construction is completed.

My Question:

By default, I want the public to always see my Home/Galleries/Exhibits page in the Galleries format, not in Categories format. Occaisionally however, I want to see a Categories view (just for me, not the public). But the only way to do that is to change that setting. And while that setting is changed, the public sees the Categories view.

It would delight me if I could display a special Categories version of my Home/Galleries/Exhibits page, just for temporary use and my own ease of navigation. Displaying such a screen should not change my default Home/Galleries/Exhibits page display setting; I would always want the public to always see Galleries vs. Categories.

Is that possible now?

Ideally, I’d like to be able to enter a special-purpose URL (like emilydelph.smugmug.com/Categories) to temporarily see the Category display. I'd liek to be able to do this whether I'm logged in or not (perhaps protecting it with a settings option).

Thanks!

Thanks!I'll bump this for you. I don't if it's psosible. If you are looking for a fast way to navigate to a category, have you seen manageBar by Javier or his SmugManager?
Both work great :)
