Pentax 16-50 f/2.8 . . . Looks so darn NICE!

hey folks.

here is the layout.

I like the old pentax lenses..Supersharp, superquality and all that. But you can´t just shoot rave events or such without any autofocus. So it struck me. The new pentax 16-50 f/2.8..Looks rather darn nice. Costs a bit but i can get one.

Any pentax users on this forum who can give me a tip or 2 ?.

The 16-50 is a great lens. Paired with the 50-135 or 50-200, I can see where you might not need much else.

I've not used one, but have heard lots of good things about them. They are also weather-sealed which imho is pretty cool:)

I don't think the optical quality is quite as good (and not weatherproofed), but the sigma 2.8 EX Macro lens is also very good and just over half the price.
