Frosty Winter Nights

This thread was inspired by Ann. There has been incredible hoar frost over the last few days in Central Alberta. It really has created a winter wonderland. So, I decided I would try to brave the night and take some night photos from around my neighbourhood.

These shots really convey "cold" to me - that is for sure. I really like the lighting in the first one - what is the source of most of that light? Just curious.
