Wet Oregon

In six months I have damaged beyond repair my collapsible three sided hood that fits over the Nikon D200 monitor screen.
The hood is manufactured by Delkin company.
Any suggestions for a hardier hood.
Many thanks!

IMHO what you are describing are pretty much worthless. If you want it to protect the screen then maybe a Nikon shooter will chime in and advise, but with Canon cameras the LCD protector that is on the back that comes on the camera is cheap and easy to replace if need be. Cheaper than the Delkin.
If you are wanting something to view the LCD is bright light conditions then take a look at this.

It's more expensive than the little Delkin gizmo but works very well for what it is intended.
If you have your heart set on one of those Delkin kind of shades take a look here.
