I like the first one. so many baby pics are just so. . . bland. Like to see some reality.

The second is good except the focus seemed to shift off the baby. Still good, though.

That looks like a biggin for one month old.
The first shot speaks the most to me, it is crisp and has emotion in it.
Second one would end up in my bin as I like the focus to be on the baby in pictures like this. The first shot is precious...

I like informal pictures not formal ones. :D and all these - except for the first one - are too formal for my taste :dunno

Nope, this one is good. If you have one that good, why would you want to keep the unsharp one?
I like unconvential too, but unsharp is unsharp.
I can see that if you only have one shot that shows emotion, that you want to keep the shot in, but that is not the case. You have a wonderful sharp shot, so I would focus on that one instead.
Just like you, I do like unconventional shots. They live more...

Today I shot a lot of pictures with flash and snoots just to test and fun.
