I found a 60 mm f2.8 in the equipment closet. I have not used a micro before, so I couldn't believe how close I could get. It's like using a wide angle, must get closer! I think I will enjoy this lens for this upcoming spring.

Must get closer..... hmmm now where have I heard that before :rofl
The desire to get closer can drive you nuts John
I have to keep remembering to breathe.
Holding your breath to get the shot, can take longer than you anticipate sometimes :oogle
I'm sure you will have many many hours of fun with this lens.
Lovely series, thanks for sharing :thumb .... Skippy :D

I really like the bokeh at 2.8, of course that can present some problems if the focus is not correct, ie, not too forgiving. This is going to be a great lens to have when the azaleas bloom and the bees fly around.
