Hi all ....
The cover of this month's "Masters Athlete" (formerly known as "GeezerJocks") features world-class master's athlete Phillipa "Phil" Raschker of Atlanta ...
The cover shot of her over the hurdle is mine ....
I met Phil at a local high school where she does her training - I think it was about a week before Thanksgiving - and took many shots of her doing her "thing" (hurdles, sprints, even throwing a javelin!). Phil was leaving the next day for Monte Carlo, where she was to receive an award recognizing her as the 2007 Female Masters Athlete of the World .... She's a very impressive lady !!!

Yea, I know it's shameless plug - :D - but I had such a good time meeting Phil and working with her that I was really pleased that the magazine chose to put her on the cover ....
