that first one is lovely. the cross-diagonal composition of the branch and the oof palm frond, it's really really good.

yes, that first one's a real eye catcher. The diagonal lines blurred in the background give it real energy versus the static bird. Nice light, too, looks good.

i do realize that sometimes I crop too tight ( usually to hide blurry distractions, empty space, dirt from my lens / camera etc.... )
