The RRS web site says you can use their B2 LR II QR clamp with "Some" Manfrotto heads. I want to use it with the 488(RC2)—anyone know if this will fit? I want a BH-40 head from RRS perhaps next year, but I wanted to get in on the ground floor of a RRS system, mainly because their L-brackets are so much better than anyone else's.
Thanks in case you have the knowledge.

Give 'em a call. The RRS folks are great people and will help to the best of
their ability.
