Its different from most pictures that you see with waterfalls, etc. As you don't know where the water is coming from.

This one just kind of shoots out of the left side of the photo. Actually being different is what I like about this shot.

You did a good cropping to get that effect. I don't know if that is what your were going for, but worked for me :D

Your copyright sign looks just a little too big. If you're so afraid people might steal your stuff, don't post it on the web.

Oh I feel there is so much more that you could bring out in this image - the shadows are much too deep and all the interest has gone out of them - a touch of Local Contrast would help this image no end.
The copyright is horrible.

I mostly enjoy this shot but there is room for improvement. The energy of the falls is communicated quite well. I also like how the falls are shooting out of the left, just like you would find if hiking upon it.
There is too much lost detail and shadow area in the mid-right where the word "image" appears in the watermark. Perhaps you can provide more detail and lighting in the center crease of the woods, it looks like a real inviting place. The shot reminds me of the Columbia Gorge area who one can get lost in the narrow cascades.
Finally, the watermark is obnoxious as others have said. Surely you can reduce the scale and move it to the bottom of the image. Also, technically a proper copyright notice is worded differently: copyright [or symbol] YYYY your name.

Thank you all for the wonderful feedback.

The suggestions about the lost detail and shadow were especially helpful. Hopefully I can get photoshop sometime soon so i can alter just specific areas of the image. Right now my post processing program doesn't have that.

Also I have to say sorry about the watermark, I definetly didn't intend to have such a large one (I kinda don't know what i'm doing yet). I've had a smugmug account for 3 or 4 days now. Kinda a little overwhelming at the moment still working out the kinks. But it's totally gone!

Thank you all again!

I like the deep shadowed areas. I've been in places like this, and they have a "Tolkeinesque" feel to them. There might be some monster hidden in the dark. If you bring up the exposure in that area, the mystery is gone. I think it is a wonderful image, and I feel wet just looking at it.

Oh, that's right, this is the Whipping Post. Abandon ego all who enter here!:wink

I agree with Icebear. I like the dark area and the mystery it suggests. I don't
like the blown out areas of the water, though, but they're not really a deal
breaker for me. All in all, a very good image.

I think it is a wonderful image, and I feel wet just looking at it.

Shadow detail is fine IMHO, makes the scene 'deep' :thumb

A touch more sharpening would suit my taste.
