My website was working fine with a drop down gallery and .png files, however the text was hard to read. I made some new buttons, loaded them to my gallery, and simply replaced the reference from the old .png to the new .jpg. It worked fine in FF, IE7, but not IE6, to make matters worse, I don't have IE6 at home, only at work.

Here is my page:

The trouble is with the drop down/FLy out from the word "Galleries". I really appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

I've tried all kinds of things and can't solve it, hope someone has an idea.
Here, it's only IE6 that's b0rked.

Mike -
I can't help with your IE6 problems, but I'm curious. (Feel free to ignore my curiosity if you think it's out of line!)

Your galleries drop-down contains 4 entries. Three of the four entries are in your navbar, and the 4th (Misc.) doesn't go anywhere. Have you considered just removing the "galleries" entry from your navbar since it is currently only duplicating links that exist in the navbar? Or do you have plans to populate the Misc category and potentially add more categories - in which case the "galleries" entry is probably needed?

Thanks Allen for trying, I open to alternatives for the drop down, I don't particularly like the new buttons.

Denise, the links in the NAvBar take you to an information page, where you get pricing, package contents etc. The links under Galleries take you to a category page where the visitor can see his/her gallery. The Misc link will eventually go to a page where my galleries other then People/Sports/Weddings are displayed. I have a few "Aquarium" pictures, and my wife has a scrapbooking clip art gallery, things like that.

Is there an online tutorial for a java flyout/drop down that I may be able to use instead? I know NOTHING of java, but the CSS seems to not work for me. I am looking at my local CC for a web class, maybe I can sneak into the winter term!

Ah, I missed the distinction.

Good luck with the drop-down problem on IE6....
