Hopefully someone can help with with this problem.

I'm trying to do HTML-only page on http://ryanphotos.smugmug.com/Grateful%20Dead

I followed the instructions located on http://www.smugmug.com/help/customize-faq.mg (#42).
As stated, I added the HTML to the "gallery description" edit box and CSS code into my customization page.

However, the results are not exactly appearing as hoped on following page ("VIEW BY SHOW")

For reference what I'm trying to go for...please see my personal site at www.gratefuljoe.com/deadalbum.html
I'm trying to mimick my smugmug site with my personal site one page at a time.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong??

Joe -
I may have misunderstood your post - but with my understanding of what you wrote and the link you posted, here goes. (Obviously feel free to ignore if I misunderstood!)

The first link that you posted is for a category, not for a gallery. An HTML-only page is a gallery. Also, and HTML-only page usually does not contain any photos (while it may link to photos in other galleries).

What you could do is link to an html-only gallery from your navbar, then use that gallery to link to the other galleries in that category.

If you look at my site, I have two examples. The pages linked to by the Kaleidoscope and Gallery links on my navbar are both HTML-only galleries. And both link to other galleries. In the case of my Gallery page, I'm using that to link to my categories. And the Kaleidoscope page links to galleries.

Does this help at all?

Denise,

thanks for replying! Sorry to say I just revised my post as you replied...sorry.
But no matter, your info does help and I did check out your site. I think how you have your GALLERY link & it's pages, is how I want to set mine up.

I think I definitely need to go back to the drawing board and start over here.

Thanks for taking the time to help me!
Regards,
Joe
