There are a number of brackets that will hold the flash off the camera.
Custom Brackets make one, Really Right Stuff also make a bracket.

As you can see in this link (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?shs=flash+brackets&ci=0&sb=ps&pn=1&sq=desc&InitialSearch=yes&O=RootPage.jsp&A=search&Q=*&bhs=t), there are a number of products available.

Different brackets affect how you handle the camera and it's worth it to look
at the brackets and evaluate them before purchase. Especially since a bracket
that's unwieldy is likely to remain unused.

As ian408 said, there are a number of different brackets. One thing that would help is knowing howmuch you are prepared to spend. This happens to be my choice of brackets:

It is expensive, but very versitile and IMO one of the best thought out brackets. It is worth it to me as I use it alot. They have similar, less expensiver Custom Brackets as well.
