View Full Version : Duck!
I went out to take some test shots at a pond that serves as a duck and goose sanctuary, hoping to get some birds in flight. They were grounded that day, but I did get these. They've been post-processed in Lightroom only. The thing I noticed is that the shots of the white one were, in most instances, considerably less sharp than the other set. I don't fancy myself a wildlife photographer by any means, but thought these turned out OK. Critiques most welcome.

I really like the second shot. That crazy duck looks like it's standing up to hug someone! (OK, OK, I know my imagination is working overtime...)
Seriously though, beautiful shots.

Thank you, I'm flattered, but I think you've sold the white duck in #3 short - he has his companion in his grasp!

If only you wouldn't haven't posted the fourth shot, we could have played the "duck, duck, goose" game. You had to go and ruin it with your beatiful second goose shot:D

IMO that is a duck. A white one. Is it really some kind of goose other than the hated (here) Canadian?
