This is ironic because I was contemplating this idea as well. You're lucky to have gotten it done first! :) Haha, I believe I just lost at this challenge.

Really nice! Just curious if the sharp inner circle is how it is in real life or is that PS? Never zoomed in on an eyeball before so I don't know. :D

actually, much to my surprise, my boyfriend's pupil is not symmetrical and it kept throwing the whole image off (for this challenge) so I PS'd it in and put an inner shadow on it go give the bordering iris some depth and sort of emphasize the actual curvature.
:wink

cool shot. there was a whole thread of eyeballs on FM a couple weeks ago. One did a very similar shot to yours, and to make it cooler, he bounced the light of a CD first. Cooool effect... you should try it.
Now if only I had a macro lens... :cry

How did you turn the white to black while keeping it so clean?

How did you turn the white to black while keeping it so clean?lots of manipulation with the magic wand tool....so adding to the selection and subtracting to the selection while upping and downing the tolerance. :D

How COOOL or nuthin'! That is such a neat idea. My hubby would never be patient enough to pose for that. I can hardly get him to just sit for me while I play with lighting/camera settings!
Well done!:bow

I'm not sure I commented on your purple roses and squiggly things, but I meant to. I really liked those compositions too. Also the muted colors you are assigning to your flower shots are really sublime. I wanna see more!
