Getting Things Done

Okay, so I am about to spend the entire day editing my pictures, reformatting my smugmug, and updating my travel journal.

I have to sort out all of my pictures from my families' in my iPhoto library, and then transfer to GIMP, and then upload.

A question for those who use macs, how do you efficiently transfer and work with your photos?

I am so in over my head today.. Oh well...
