A shot of Matthew. Is it too wahed out?

It appears to me that your saturation is about where you want it. Take a look at his toys as a clue.
As for his face, I'm thinking it could maybe be a touch brighter.
But, I don't think I would mess with this image too much. It looks really good to me. I would wonder what it might look like B&W.

Yes, it's too flat, IMO.
I put it through the Recipe for Portraits (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=22524), and I think it's much better for it.
What do you think?

Just a gorgeous image, and I like Davids edit. Looks commercial! Better than anything I've seen the Thomas & Friends manufacturer produce, anyway! :rofl

Thanks,
I think I like David's edit as well. I will have to look at the process via the link. I used a little fill flash from my speedlite EXII (first use of the flash), so I'm not sure I had it set correctly.
Thanks again for the comments all, and David for taking the time to work on it.:D

It is really adorable...beautiful boy...and I love his position and all the little Thomas characters around him. I do like it with a bit more pop, but it doesn't need much! :clap
