View Full Version : Weekly Assignment #60: Open Flame
Nikolai
Nov-30-2007, 10:10 PM
This week task is fairly straightforward: try to capture an open flame (please, no gas ranges!)
Your entry can be a SOOC shot or a careful composite (in which case please also provide original frames you used to construct it). In any case, the idea is to deliver the magic of ever-changing low-temperature plasma called "fire".
Fresh shots only, as usual.
Let's get some flaming going one!

I tried to link it...then I tried to paste it...I couldn't get it on there other than what I did. I went to FAQ and they said I should have a browse...I don't have that.
Do you know what I am missing?

Use the "image insert" button http://www.dgrin.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif and specify the image url, that is usually availalble via Properties if you click on the actual image.

I sent an email to the support team. I got this back
"We're adding new servers to help power dgrin and we need to turn off the ability to upload attachments for awhile. Sorry about that. Hopefully the end result will be more server horsepower and faster speeds."

I had a go at open flames in IR, and managed to surprise meself!

What surprises me is the color of the flamy bit. It looks perfectly normal, through an IR-pass filter!
