Hello new to the site, so I wasn't sure where to put this picture of my dog.

Touched up with photoshop. (Please go easy on me I'm just starting out, amatuer, very amateur photography) But I'm open to any tips.

Welcome Dragon :wave

The folks here are kind and gentle to all :D

I like the perspective and looks like you have a good looking dog, but the eyes look weird. Perchance did you try to correct a "demon eye" problem during post processing? FWIW, Demon eye is the animal equivalent of human redeye.

Anyhow, welcome and I hope to see more of your shots in the future,
Steve

Welcome, i am new, sort of, but i think that if possible take the dog outside to get pic because the natural light will eliminate your use of a flash and then the eyes wont look so odd. I do like the dog though. Keep shooting. You can only get better in this proffesion.

Hi there Dragon:wave and welcome to dgrin:cheer

Great dog you have there and I agree with Steve on the pic. The eye thing is common and there are a few ways to address it depending on what camera and/or flash you are using.

Hope you hang around (it is a great group of folks) and we get to see some more of your pics

Nice doggy, Dragon.

Fill the area with "demon eye" with black and add a slight highlight to it to give a little shine to the eye to keep it from becoming a blank stare.

That does look good. I'll have to try that. Thanks for the tip.
