Oh, I love it! It has rich tones and nice sharpness and a lot to look at. Your shots are always so beautiful and interesting, IMO. I'd love to know more about how this shot was made.

I was walking down the street at night with my wife on Federal Hill in Providence Rhode island with my Canon 5D and a 24-70f/2.8L attached. I glanced across the street and thought.....Why Not?......and took the shot.
Exif data is as follows:
1/60 second
F3.50
ISO 800
Flash did not fire
Focal Length = 62.00 mm

Fantastic, very nice photo! Deep constrasts and very sharp.
The scene is full of many sub-plots, did you explore any of them?

I'm curious to see this on my good monitor as it looks great on my crappy work monitor! There is something about this shot, aside from it being black and white, that takes me back in time at least 25 years. The scene is so sedate, civilized and elegant. Love the lighting. It reminds me of a movie set, as it almost appears staged. Great capture and conversion!

Stunning.
EDIT: I keep coming back to this photograph...It may be an all time favorite of mine on Dgrin. So Rockwell-ish, full of life. About perfect, IMHO. Every customer captured is another story. The lighting is great. I would pay for this.

Tom,
A beautiful shot!!! Pictures like this are the reason why I've decided to get more serious about my hobby...
May I download it to have as my screen saver? If not, where can I buy a copy?
Thanks,
Nick
