Wow. Great images!:clap :clap :clap
This is good stuff - there isn't much to be critical of. #2 may be over lit, but that's it. Nicely cropped shots of an interesting subject. For me, the second to last image is particularly powerful. Please keep posting more of your work.

You have done a very good job at capturing these statues.

I particularly like images #3 + #4 + #5

Image # three .... to me portrays innocence, but not sorrow.
Image # four ..... the hands softly interlocked looks peaceful
Image # five .... portrays grief and despair.

Your post processing is very good.
Image #2 doesn't really grab me at all.
Clean Sharp images, nice tones too .... Well Done :clap

I've been to Pere Lachase (sp?) but before I had the digital camera. I would love a return visit.

Thanks everyone for the good feedback. I included #2 because I think it looks creepy. I upped the contrast but otherwise it is very much as it came out of the camera. The backlight made it all glowy like that.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who goes around photographing in cemeteries! These are really beautifully done - I'm partial to #3 but really like #4 as well. Nice work!

I'm a big fan of a local (Toronto) photographer Pamela Williams.
She has a rather old and basic website here:
http://pages.interlog.com/~romantic/home.html

I own 3 of her books and one of her large silver prints. I have my eye on one more but she is still working with the framing.

I love climbing thru these old cemeteries but sometimes it really hits you what you are doing. Like when I took this picture...
