Hello,

I apologize if this has already been asked. I'm happy to view another post - but couldn't find one off-hand.

I noticed that my search box wasn't working so I added Smugsearch. It works great when I'm logged in but does not work at all when I'm not logged in. I've had visitors complain that they can't search my site.

I also have an index page that brings up keywords. So... on my index page the term Haida Gwaii goes to a keyword search result. This works when I'm logged in, but does not work when I'm not logged in.

One example link is: http://www.naturestocklibrary.com/keyword/alaska/

It draws up a page when I'm logged in but it doesn't work when I'm logged out. I'd love the ability to create links based on keywords so I can ensure my directory/index works for outside users.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
Christina

Hi Andy,
Thanks so much for responding. All of my galleries have a "yes" next to "allow Smugmug to search" and 95% are not password protected or are private galleries.

I do, however, hide the galleries from my homepage via my css and java script. I wonder if maybe this is the problem. I'll go in and see if I can modify some of that code. Before I customize, do you think this may be the culprit?

Is there a different way to make sure my galleries aren't smugislands?

Thanks in advance

Now I see what the trouble was. I had all of my individual galleries turned to "yes" - to allow Smuggers to see the galleries. What I didn't notice before was the Smugisland link in the overall customziation. That's what was wrong - I didn't see that feature before. Thanks for your help. It's fixed now.
