Newbie coming out of lurk mode - so why not use one of the local landmarks for an opener? Someday this place will be a marvelous place for the urban exploration folks, but for now we just accept it as it is - a dominating factor in the local area and a landmark for small aircraft.

First off, welcome and thanks for sharing!

Interesting place: where is this and what do they make here? I'd enjoy seeing some tighter shots of some of the many interesting details and features that this facility appears to have.

Welcome to Dgrin!

I like the symmetry of tighter shots of production plants; the lines and shapes are really cool. Unfortunately, they lose the symmetry when you pan out and include the stacks that fill the sky with the waste of the energy it burns to produce it's product.

Interesting shot, and I look forward to more from you. Keep on shooting!

Hi there NewWindsor, welcome to Dgrin.
Don't forget to fill in your location in your Profile,
it's nice to know what country folks are in. :nod

That's quite a Factory/Plant isn't it.
Where abouts is it?

I like all the curves and lines in the shot.
Thanks for sharing, now stay de-lurked okay :thumb
Keep posting........ Skippy :D

This shot is only part of the Lehigh Cement plant in Union Bridge, Maryland, about 3 miles from my house. Most of what is seen in the picture is part of the kiln that processes the raw material into cement. At night, the whole tower is lit up and is rather amazing to see.
