I love gargoyles - I bought my first 135mm tele years ago when I was in college to shoot gargoyles in Tri-X.
I gather the Sony 828 lets you shoot in IR easily? - unlike the the EOS digitals which seem to have an IR filter I think.
When I get home I'll add some more B&W to your thread if that is ok with you.....

yes, the sony 828 and 7x7 are particularly suited to ir - they have a nightshot mode and it's very cool.

I love the streaming light in your shot of Grand Central Station, and like you I have a great affinity for the various hues of B&W.
I may have to look at the Sony828 for the IR ability also - you have demonstrated it's capabilites very nicely.http://www.dgrin.com/images/icons/lickout.gif

I can't express enough how much I like your pictures. Your pictures make me feel two things....1. I should work up to your quality of work 2. Give up! Just keep shooting family pictures.
