Stopped for a few hours in Jerome this past weekend on a trip to Central AZ.

Aaron,

I like the first B&W, a lot. Nice lines and patterns of light and shadow. I suspect the decision to go to B&W was an excellent choice here.

I noticed the wooden propeller hub in the second shot. I would have taken that home with me.

The falls look lovely, I liked the last two falls images better than the first. Maybe the diagonal lines do that for me.

The leaf is very red, but too centered and too lacking in detail to carry the image by itself for my eye. JMO of course.

Great series of images!

Thank you for taking the time to comment.

You are right about the first shot. The truck itself is a 50's faded yellow and with the soft orange morning light it works much better in b&w than in color.

I found the car by chance- heard the flow of water - which living in Arizona always peeks my interest- and proceeded to follow the sound. I had to traverse a short but steep ravine to get down to the car and the creek.

Thanks for the rest of the comments- :thumb

Great shots! I would have liked to see the last one cropped to just the leaf.
