Think that b&w is better...
Less 'beauty', more 'job' so to say...

I like the Black and white one better for sure, i think the curtain seems less distracting in it. I love them both though!:thumb

'Better' is in the eye of the beholder IMO. I like both versions. Even though I am a black and white afficianado, I prefer the color version of this shot. I like the bright colors of the stage lights and her dress amidst the subtle tones of the stage and theater. Neat shot!

I like the B/W better. The bluish spotlights off-stage are distracting to me. The B/W seems more dramatic.

I like the B&W better. It brings out those waiting backstage a little more, adding to the ambiance for me. :thumb

I like the color...the B+W is nice too, but the noise is more noticeable

I like them both, but I think the B&W takes a slight edge because it has a more "classic" feel.

Color for me here. It gives the shot an edge!

B&W for me. There is something really majestic about B&W in an opera type threater....I feel like saying BRAVO!!!:barb

Both beautiful, but I'm voting color.

B-W better. The Color shot is best in many ways, but the over-bright side lights are very distracting, and much less objectionable in the B-W shot.

BW, like someone already stated, it makes it look like and older clasic shot.

Both are great shots. In this case, I like the color a little bit better. The color shows off the patterns in her dress, which are lost in the B&W. Although not seeing the comparison, the B&W would be great by itself.

As a newbie here, I'm really looking forward to your pictures, Yuri. Thanks for sharing them

When I first saw both the color and black and white versions, I thought how neat it would look in selective coloring. I know that not many people like that, but it doesn't mean it isn't a good idea. A soft sepia with selective coloring would be beautiful. Great photo !!

I'm voting for color......
