I like to use http://photographersindex.com/stockprice.htm
but you will have to factor in your relationship with your friend.

Here's an idea. Tell your friend that because of the friendship you won't charge him a production fee, but will ask for $125.00 per image for non-exclusive unlimited license for his own use.

Don't forget, he's hoping to use YOUR photos to help him make money. There ya go. One free idea.:wink

Looks like all gave great advice...but remember to get your credit line(s) also.....I would ask for a small ad....something like: Photos provide by _______________ contact at:______________email:________________

Beat me to that recommendation (BTW, welcome to Dgrin!). You might also want to take a look at Fotoquote.

This will give both you and your friend a feel for what the market value is for these shots. Then you can give him however much of a buddy discount you want.

Funny thing is, I'm doing a shoot for a friend & a groups he's involved in this weekend myself. He is paying me, and I'll be selling prints to them. I am getting paid and he is getting a buddy discount. Sometimes that's how you get your foot in the door. :deal
