Took some flower pics around town today. Hope you like them.

This one was in a flower bed in front of a business. No idea what it is No post processing.

This is a poppy that was on the hillside by the local FedEx. No post processing.

This is another unidentified flower from a flower bed. I put a gaussian blur and a slight levels adjustment on this one. Not really happy with the blur but I'm still learning PSE3:

Hope you enjoyed the flower show for today. Please feel free to comment.

Thanks for looking,

Hey Eric,

Pretty shots. I liked the last one the best. It looks like you are slowly getting into PSE. That is a great program.

Thanks Harry. At first I thought PSE would be to much for me but now I'm slowly getting the hang of it.

I like em all Eric :thumb

Flowers are so much fun to shoot. They are so beautiful and you can shoot them from so many different angles. Now that Spring is here, I'm expecting to see lots of color in this forum :):

Good work on getting familar with PSE (or any post processing program). Once you get comfy with post processing, you might find it almost as enjoyable as the shooting itself :-)

Ukiah, huh? My folks used to live in Willets :thumb We used to love staying in Ukiah, so that the family could eat at the Broiler Steakhouse :eat My kids even asked if we could take a vacation to scenic Ukiah :lol just so we could visit the Steakhouse two or three times.....LOL

Thanks for sharing these,
Steve

We eat at the Broiler every now and then, it's pretty good. As far as the scenic thing, I can see why you put the:lol . Usually if we want scenic we'll go to Fort Bragg or Mendocino over on the coast. Good sea food, nice hotels, and great ocean views. You should try them out sometime.

Thanks Angelo! The pansy always reminds me of those goofy glasses with the fake mustach attached.:rofl
