FM plug-ins

Wondering if anyone uses FM plug-ins?
More so if any 1D MKll owners use the sharpening plug-in?
Im thinking about purchasing it and would like to know what you thought about it. I have a difficult time sharpening images.I use different methods and Im not so pleased with the results.

I have several plugins from FM & they've all been great. I'm a nikon guy & haven't used his sharpening tool yet. I'm currently using an action from a local photographer. It's called Triple Sharpening Action (http://www.soocool.com/software).

I know his previous versions was handed out for free on the dpreview forums. You can search there & I'm sure you'll find the link ;)

His new version has some nice improvements, but I've been happy with the old one & not used the new one yet.

I use it on low settings (layer opacity). You'll understand when you see it.

Have you read our Shay Stephens piece (http://www.sonycams.com/more.php?id=38_0_1_0_M) on sharpening? It's a nice, clear, easy to understand explanation of how the three variables work in Unsharp Mask. Helped me a lot.

Wondering if anyone uses FM plug-ins?

I've just started using their 20D sharpening plug-in. I like the user interface, it batches fine, and its intuitive enough. Still playing around with it. So far I like it.
