Turning off random thumbnails

Hi. Is there a way to make the thumbnails on my gallery page not display a random image from the gallery but instead display a single fixed image that I have chosen?
I want my site to look the same every time someone views it. I also want only by best images to display on my main galleries page. I find it annoying that I can't easily change this. Am I overlooking something?

For each gallery under "photo tools" click "feature photo" for the thumb you
want to display on the galleries page. The thumb from the first gallery on the
gallery page will show on the category page for each category.

Ok. Now I understand where a featured photo is featured. There is an easy way to do what I wanted after all. Thanks!

I wonder if this function in the menu should be called "Set Gallery Thumbnail Photo" instead of "Feature Photo". You probably would have had a better chance of discovering it and knowing what it did.
