Hey Sam,

Its an interesting shot. I think I would have tried to get closer in to focus on maybe one or two branches.

Nice shot Sam. Makes you stare and wonder for a moment how you did it.

I like it Sam, it's like a maze, I think it's a nice abstract with lots to look at.

I like this a lot too as is....despite the fact that it made me think of tarantula legs (icky!!) :clap

i like the shot. i think the framing is good, any wider and it loses the detail. any closer in and i think its just another macro shot. some macro shots are great, while some are plain, i think you made the right decision by zooming in close enough to get the detail of the branches and the smooth flowing organic lines of the plant without getting so close as to lose it.

Sam, I like the photo. I hope that you don't mind my playing with it a little. Since it is basically an abstract anyway, I just made it more so. I punched the colors by adding saturation and then bumped both the contrast and the brightness.

I like it too, wanna know why? Cause it makes me remember the pain of getting to close!! :pissed

You took that shot at the right spot, no need for macro here :rofl

Thanks for the feed back, and for Dixie, and anyone else. It's always OK to play with anything I post. I liked it punched up a bit, I will work with this later.

Thanks, Sam. I'm new to the message board so didn't want to break any protocols or do any no-nos.

Reminds me that my daughter sent me a really nice loosely knitted scarf just the day I saw the daffodils. She knitted it with love, I wear with same.

I assume you do not plan to wear the thing in the photo.
