Hi folks, on our way home from the 2007 Dgrin Photo Shoot,
we stopped off at the Calgary Zoo in Canada.

I got lost :rofl ohhhh thank goodness for mobile phones and text messages!

Glad I didn't wait for Christina to answer me cause she got my message after we got back in the car and were driving down the road :rofl :rolleyes

The Calgary Zoo is a very small Zoo, yeah yeah I know then how did I get lost go ahead make fun :haha I tell you I have no sense of direction,
even in a Zoo :D

The Melbourne Zoo is massive in comparison to it.

It's a nice Zoo to wonder around, and you can clearly get a good look at the Lions, Tigers and other Wildlife within the grounds.

Just so happens that it was mating season, and the Lions were not wasting any time so to speak :rolleyes

Well, we stood there and watched just cause we could :oogle
but the Male Lion cracked it big time with us and showed Ann he was not a happy camper at all!!
.... we almost pooped our pants in fright as he flew the fence and told us in no uncertain terms to rack off hairlegs! :rofl

Then he goes and plonks himself down next to the female and goes to sleep like hello? :oogle the act only took like seconds.. I mean what a show off :nah

The Flamingo's were busy as you can plainly see NOT! hehehe!
Ohhhhh boy oh boy, I still remember my 8 year old nephew asking me what those Pink Things on Sticks were, many years ago :rofl

I'm slowly slowly ever so slowly getting through some of my editing.
Enjoy :thumb .... Skippy

Sounds like you had fun Skippy, even that you got lost in a zoo. You should've left the lion out and followed him out :rofl

No wonder the lion was p@#%$ off.

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

oh, that is ripe!!

Yes, we did nearly poo our pants - that lion looked us in the eyes, came right toward the fence, roared and , well thank goodness the fence was sound!!

Now, as to the Calgary Zoo being small...well, skippy got lost and headed for the car park before we had walked through half of it! That, and it is in the center of the city! That, and we don't really need a zoo cuz we still have actual wild critters right outside our doors.....

Meh, give him a break. I hear lions have to perform hundreds of time a day. What a life! :wink Two nice captures though. :thumb

Awwwwwww but those two caught my eye, can't help meself :dunno
I saw them as I was flicking through me shots.

I have edited a couple of more shots, takes time doesn't it.
I have not had a full day at home since I got back from USA.

Missed two flights on the way home so ended up staying at my parents place... they took me home the following afternoon, and I went back to work the next day.

One day back at work and it was like I'd never left ... ohhh well.

I shall concentrate on editing in order :D .... Skippy

Two good captures Skippy but I don't know how one gets lost in a zoo after finding their way to Australia from Utah. :scratch
