...Well, in war (as in fights) no-one really wins.
Coots seem to be very passive birds, but when they do fight they become vicious.

Amazing action set Russ :thumb #1 surely has to be the winner though.
The coots down here are *very* aggressive - they're not shy to chase something as large as a crane :dunno

Hi Russ, Great series. There are a lot of coots on the lake I shoot at and it seems like a constant battle all day long. Very well done :clap

I guess they end up fighting because there is just too many of them, but this is my first time witnessing such a drawn-out battle.
