Some people have all the luck! Great shots and what a variety.....all from someones' veranda! I don't have quite the same luck with my measly balcony. The shots of the Francolin are really neat. Love the feathers. You have some pretty exotic birds where you're at!!! :thumb

My friend has a cottage in a small nature reserve - he gets wonderful things wandering through his garden. I just wish I could spend more time there.

Nice series Al, I haven't seen anything as colorful as the Barbet since the costumes at the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. It would fit right in. Amazing colors.

So what type of hombrew do you like to make Big Al?:beerI'm very partial to porters, dark ales and bitters :slurp Coopers make a really nice kit beer called Coopers Dark Ale (http://www.coopers.com.au/homebrew/hbrew.php?pid=1&id=112). I tasted it for the first time at our local homebrewer's beer festival (http://bigal-sa.smugmug.com/gallery/662907#28554705-L-LB), and was really surprised at how good it was for a kit beer.

I like to brew IPA's, and amber ales, but I also enjoy a good dark ale once in awhile! :D
