Is this minimalism

I just needed to know if I am doing it right... this next challenge is a real challenge because I really just like people.

It's a good start, I like the composition, but the brick offers a little too much texture for my take on minimalism; But you need to discover it for yourself and come up with your own take. If you can find it, google "Barragan". As far as I'm concerned he was one of the greatest minimalist architects of his time, his work is truly inspiring. Another great source of minimalism is the "Bauhaus", not the band, the movement that started in 1919 in Berlin. One of their basic ideas was that form follows function, their ideas define much of what we understand as the modern world.
