shot these spur of the moment at 1 am. The lighting was just so nice I couldn’t resist. f1.8 1/30 50mm iso 500 ambient light (obviously)Critique is welcome and appreciated.

I'm no expert and I can't comment on technique, exopsure, etc.

but DAAAAAAARN, both shots capitvate me! WOW! She's absolutely gorgeous, the way you caught her smile makes her very sensual. Impressive.

Small technique comment afterall - I feel like you could've used more DOF on the second picture to get her lips and chin in focus, too. Just a feeling.

These are just stunning. :thumb I like the fact the the chin and mouth are out of focus.

#1 is my fav. Even though you can only see part of the pupil, i still feel like she is staring directly at me. Seem to not get the same feeling in #2.

I like the effort. I kept coming back to them and each time I found myself tilting my head, not a good feel (for me). gorgeous model and nice attempt, & I think your on to something though, keep at it. The chin (lower areas) seem less out of focus and more blurry to me (if that makes sense) Just a little distracting (for me)

I like the first one more. think it looks fine as is. Focus is on the eye which looks beautiful, especially in the first.

Number 1 is a great shot. The tones are great and it is cropped really well. Not to criticize too much, but I find her eye liner distracting in the second shot and the cropping/angle is not as natural.

Overall though, awesome job.
