I'm glad I'm not raising my daughter in that insane city.

I grew up in NYC (Staten Island) and that was crazy enough!

that's just outright dangerous and stupid IMO. those kids are going to get hurt one day. they're apt to get ran over by a car or have the snot beaten out of them by a bodyguard. they're luck erika badu (sp?) only erased the images from their camera. she could've had her bodyguards toss them in the trunk and got rid of em down a river. and shame on their parents for promoting the behaviour. senseless, absolutely senseless. :huh

Typical of a lot of yuppie parents in the area. Too much money, no time or sense. "Here, have $10k of camera gear and a $30k car and keep out of my hair." :rolleyes It's bad enough behind the "Orange Curtain" but add in the insanity of Hollyweird....

(dang, but I'm feeling obnoxious this morning)

Wah, my daddy never bought me a $10K of camera gear. :-{

Ok, but we *did* get: Bally game console with a Basic cartridge, and a TRS-80, and later an Atari 400, and then an 800, and then an Apple ][ and a //c and later a Mac Plus and still later a IIsi.

So, I guess I was spoiled too. :-}
