World War One pictures in colour

Apparently the french army photographers were the first to take pictures in colour during World War One

Those pictures are very cool. It really helps in trying to picture what it was like back then. Whenever I picture what things looked like during those wars, I can't help but picture everything in black and white and can't get my brain to picture it in color.

We had a showing off similar colour photos of 0zzies & French in WWI in our town hall a few months back & i asked if i could photograph them & they said no worries as long as no flash or tripod/mono was used...

Sooooo excuse the blur, some were as slow as 1/4 handheld but imagine being there now with some equipment.
