Here is what I'm doing, and what I have:
-I use Nikon RAW files, with sRGB color space.
-My monitor is color calibrated with Spyder2Express
-Using Photoshop CS2
My working space in Photoshop is set to sRGB and preserve embedded profiles when opening. So I make my changes to a pic, save them with sRGB profile embedded. In Photoshop it looks great. But I open up the same pic in PaintShopPro and the color looks a bit off, as there is a noticeable color temperature shift. Not a uniform, color change in the whole picture, but noticeable. I save the pics as 16bit tiffs, and when I open them up in some pictures the color temperature goes down and things look a bit cool. See the same effect when opening in other image viewers.
When I 'Assign profile' from sRGB to the working space profile, it looks exactly how I want it when I open up in other image viewers.
Anyone have an idea of what is causing this color shift?
